Ah - I had more of a look and it was my fault. I had both nouveau and i915drmkms configured in the kernel, from the X log it looks like it was choosing the i915 device. I commented out the i915 stuff and rebuilt the kernel, now X comes up fine stretched across both monitors. Thanks for the help! -- Brett Lymn -- Sent from my NetBSD device.
