Desktop users should just add `-w' to make dhcpcd(8) wait for an IP address
to be assigned. That usually fixes this:

$ fgrep dhcpcd /etc/rc.conf
dhcpcd=YES
dhcpcd_flags="-4Mqw ure0 vioif0"
$
