I looked at what openssl 3.5.1 produces when I run './Configure; make':
openssl-3.5.1> ldd ./libssl.so
./libssl.so:
-lcrypto.3 => not found
-lpthread.1 => /usr/lib/libpthread.so.1
-lc.12 => /usr/lib/libc.so.12
Compared to what -current now has:
> ldd /usr/lib/libssl.so
/usr/lib/libssl.so:
-lc.12 => /usr/lib/libc.so.12
so I think it's a bug in the base version of openssl.
