Hi, >From my experience, unfortunately NetBSD 11 is indeed even more difficult to use than NetBSD 10 in my initial testing. >From amdgpu department, I would say, NetBSD 11 is not usable for me after upgrade :( (tried RX460 and RX5700XT), though the former worked quite well in NetBSD 10 (without acceleration). See my reported kern/59629 and kern/59628 for the problems encountered. Acceleration surprisingly enables in NetBSD 11, but it leads to issues, like constant artifacts, instabilities and finally complete X.org freeze (if not immediately on start). Also mouse became very slow and inaccurate, slightly fixable with xset, but accuracy still bad, windows seems not to get focus at times. radeon(4) (I am using Radeon R7 370) works better (R9 290 is likely radeon(4) too?) with `Option "AccelMethod" "glamor" '. Though constant artifacts still exist, which are not always pleasant but typically "workaroundable" (refresh web page, select text, restart app and similar actions). Performance is good though for me (opengl code is accelerated). Also mouse issue is not present. Far from perfect, but somewhat usable. Unfortunately, don't have compatible nvidia cars if situation is any better in that department...
