Argh.. sorry about those flake8 related failures. I've fixed them now. Also, I've simplified the test to mock get_volume_spec instead of subp, as you suggested.
Testing this change in a live LPAR installation, does not seem to resolve LP: #1895192 though... Still I think this is a good and useful change in itself.
