An admin creates a user from Users and Permissions: researcher, portal admin or cluster admin. A researcher gets a cluster account, optionally attached to an allocation. The username follows the same rule used in user ingestion through upstream allocations. A portal admin gets the admin role, no cluster account. A cluster admin gets a cluster account with access level ADMIN and joins the cluster admin group, which carries sudo. The group name is configuration. Creating an admin needs roles:manage, a researcher needs core:users:write. Provisioning runs through the same event ingestion uses. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
