Getting developers involved in reviewing and testing this : work would be very useful.
I can't stress this reviewing part enough. The new code is very different from the old code, and there's quite a bit of change to plow through. The more eyes we have, the better. I've had mixed luck with the new code myself, but mostly good luck.
