IMHO this is wrong: NOPORTDOCS should cover only what goes under
${DOCSDIR} (which is often lengthy and detailed documentation users
might not need). Man pages are different matter though, and it's almost
always useful to have them installed (unless, of course, they pose
interest to developers only).
