Restore -O2 optimization after gcc 4.2.1 import, which has
fixed the issue raised by gcc 4.2.0.
Tested with: test case found in gcc bug 32500

Euh... it would have been nice if we first tried -O2 on
those other architectures (you know, those platforms that
hamper i386) before we declare GCC fixed...
