The anonymous CVS repository (and CVSweb) lags behind the "real"
repository by up to 24 hours. It is a snapshot copy, taken once
per day. However, I have noticed that if a lot of commits come in
at the time of the snapshot, the copying process can fail to get a
lock on (parts of) the repository, so it abandons making that part
of the copy for a further 24 hours.

To the CVS maintainers: this seems to trip up quite a lot of people.
Is there any possibility of changing the policy to allow more rapid
updates of the anonymous/CVSweb section? Maybe the copy could be made
at midnight PST, instead of noon?

Regards,
    Malcolm
