Log message:
Commented out the recent key echo change in onTextInserted()
for now as it has the side-effect of no longer speaking any
text that's inserted into the gedit or gnome-terminal
application. Need to find out how to determine whether this
"object:text-changed:insert" event was generated as the result
of a key being pressed.
