Use class macro for type casting.

Don't force cast a GtkActionGroup to a GtkAction.

Use correct API to get path of the preoject root when building
the list of targets for the run action.
Correct ordering of the construction of the preferences widgets.
Only remove the valgrind widget if it is currently displayed.

Return if check_valgrind_binary() fails.
The ValgrindPluginPrefs object is initialized after the call to
vg_action_new. Take a handle to the location of the pointer to
the future object.
