* gpilotd/gnome-pilot-serial.c: use G_DEFINE_TYPE
* gpilotd/gnome-pilot-config.c (get_xml_from_device): check the
device type by direct GType comparison
* capplet/gnome-pilot-capplet.c (get_device_by_type): ditto
(fill_sync): ditto
(serial_port_speed_changed_cb): update if the speed or port changes
(infrared_port_speed_changed_cb): ditto
(usb_port_changed_cb): update if the port changes
(init_widgets): listen for speed/port changes
