After considerable effort by Sami Wagiaalla <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, we at last
have a fix for the problem where CustomEvents registered by worker threads
outside the GTK main thread are ignored until other events (ie mouse over
movement) happen. The fix was to init GLIB threads but not GDK threads. Whether
or not this is a fix to #155113 is probably a matter of opinion, but for now it
makes CustomEvents work, and that is what is important. Vetted by AfC (me), and
ijuma.
With that, bump to 2.6.3
