* Bump the delay for concio from 0.45 to 1s
It wasn't long enough on thorkil's Mac. Should really do something
based
on the calibration value or something, I guess.
What kind of mac (and what version of macos) is thorkil's?
Machine Name: PowerBook G4
Machine Model: PowerBook3,2
CPU Type: PowerPC G4 (11.3)
CPU Speed: 400 MHz
Memory: 384 MB
System Software Overview:
System Version: Mac OS X 10.4.9 (8P135)
Kernel Version: Darwin 8.9.0
powerpc-apple-darwin8-gcc-4.0.1 (GCC) 4.0.1 (Apple Computer, Inc.
build 5250)
So, rather slow, rather small. In fact, at sleep 0.6 seconds, the
concio001 tests usually fail, at sleep 0.7 seconds, they usually succeed.
There is something odd going on with threadDelay, I've seen it on Linux
(but the effect seems much smaller there). It could indicate a more
serious underlying problem, so I plan to look into it ASAP.
Maybe it is just the processor speed, but maybe there is a
also a difference between Intel and PPC macos, or the fact
that I have Darwin 8.10.1. Just thought, it might be useful
to have an additional data point.
In any case, let me know if there is anything that you'd
like me to try or have a look at on macos to track this down.
Manuel
