ghc fails to build if you use an external gmp library.
On what platform, out of interest?
The patch fixes the build on FreeBSD and OS X (if you're using
gmp as a library, not a framework). Since I maintain Macports's ghc
and am trying to finish the FreeBSD amd64 patches, I got bit twice ;-)
