Right, we have a ticket for that:

Some of the work has been done, e.g. warnings can now be marked as
deprecated in the source, but there is still a lot more to be done,
including some design questions. For example, would it be better to have
the flags and docs specified in a custom format, or should we put the
docs in the Haskell source as Haskell strings?
I don't think we'll finish all that for 6.10.1.
