Ah, the IRC discussion that Ian is referring to happened *after* the thread
that Simon is referring to (confusion ensues).
The only downside that I can see to including extralibs is that it's
confusing from the user's point of view - too many groups of libraries, and
it's unclear what the status of each is. For this reason I'm slightly in
favour of dropping extralibs for the 6.10 release.
