I think it would be helpful if make install is done on all build
slaves that have sufficient disk space (btw: count my build slave
in). This could at least help noticing install problems quicker.
Of course, if breakage happens, someone has to look at the buildbot
reports.
Regarding non-tier-1 platforms: it would be nice if some Free- and
NetBSD people could step up and setup a build slave. Or some people
running really weird linux setups with libraries in strange places.
