I just checked this and there is no problem, CVSNT updates just fine
using this CVSROOT:
:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/local/cvs

cvs -z9 update -d (in directory F:\Engineering\Projects\cvsnt\)
cvs server: Updating .
.. snip..
cvs server: Updating zlib/os2
*****CVS exited normally with code 0*****

Must be something else...

Sidenote:
Apparently Tony is using a Linux CVS to store CVSNT in... ;-)
