What tool are you using which stores its __sourcecode__ in a proprietary
binary format?

Most tools have some method for storing source code in text.

The company I work for had to create a special driver for an obscure
development system called "Uniface" to get around this very problem.
Perhaps you could develop something similar for your environment ?
