I see where that's coming from.  Not sure why it works under Linux,
though.. it never gets called.  I've just removed the reference to it.

Ick.  That could be a problem...fake-getaddrinfo uses it to resolve
numeric hostnames.  Perhaps it's a macro on your system?  There might be
another header file to include.somewhere.
