Guided by the installation instruction InstallCVSNT.html i came to number 9 and failed with the error as written in the subject. The cvsroot is set to set cvsroot====:ntserver:localhost:/TEST and the message written in the subject i got when i type on the cmd. cvs passwd -a myusername I am sure that the server is running. Can anyone give me some suggestions or ideas for what at least look on my system to add a user the test repository and to start some trials? sincerely eryk<< Try "cvs -v", it should give "Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 1.11.1.3 (Build 57d) (client/server)". The dlls should be in your path too. IP-numbers work for :pserver:-connenctions. For :ntserver: you need the name of the machine your are connecting to.
