I have noticed that commit timing is depenent on the execution of the loginfo script. If there is a mail delivery in the loginfo script and the mailhost is not available then there will be a long delay before the commit completes. The delay is caused by Windows trying to detremine if the socket connection to the server can be set up.
Is there any way to get rid of this, like starting loginfo from a separate process in CVSNT so that the main commit can complete faster? Bo Berglund PS: This was earlier posted to the CVSNT newsserver but it never got through so I am now mailing it instead.
