Yes, that makes sense for sure.

So deleting a branch tag (as long as at least one associated alias branch tag 
remains) in non-EVS CVSNT is OK? Assuming this is true, then re-using the old 
branch tag name (for any other tagging purpose, i.e., to create fixed tag or as 
another, different branch tag) is also OK, right?
