Saw this article and was disappointed not only in its writing style but in the content, too:
http://www.midwesttechjournal.com/ modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=394&mode=&order=0&thold=0
One paragraph that particularly bothered me was this one:
<quote>
Here is the bottom line...there is no use for P2P networks that passes the "straight face" test other than to illegally distribute bootleg songs, movies, and software, along with distributing obscene materials or pornographic materials - - including child pornography. If the Supreme Court were happy with the decision reached by the Ninth Circuit in favor of Grokster and KaZaa, the Court could have let that decision stand. Since the Supremes want to revisit the decision by the Ninth Circuit, chances are high that a majority of the Court wants that decision to be reversed.
</quote>
I question if the article was to inform or to simply inflame.
BTW, please consider using BitTorrent, a peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing system, to distribute FLOSS.
