Hiya, I ran into a situation where I had created a VirtualBox with Windoze installed on it, to test some software.
Now, I need to install different software on it, and OOPS -- not enough room. The initial box was only 4GB in size ... silly me, I thought you could later allocate more room or resize the virtual drive. Not with Sun's free VirtualBox! However, thanks to Google and those who document their work, I found this web site, which explains what to do in this situation (hint: clone, then resize partition): http://marcosaruj.com/archives/116 The "fix" seems to have worked with no problems on my install (which was a snapshot of the original disk). So I thought I'd share this with the group, in case anyone else runs into this issue.
