Hi, everyone. I started work on the 2nd edition of Linux Phrasebook
years ago, & then put it aside to work on other things. Now it is time
to finish the project. My publisher asked me to revisit my outline,
which I have done. However, I’d like your input. You can find the
outline on GitHub at
https://github.com/rsgranne/linux-phrasebook-2nd-edition.
Please look it over & send me your responses & pull requests. Is there
something I’m missing? Should I remove something? Should I change
something? Is anything confusing or (gasp!) wrong? For instance, I know
the final (new) section on Shell Scripting is in a weird order (I
think), but I’m still puzzling out what the correct order should be.
Any input is appreciated! Also, I will thank you in the book with your
first name & last initial or your handle; if you do not want me to do
that, please let me know.
One more thing: I’d like to send this on to my publisher in the next
few days.
Thank you all, & I look forward to your feedback!
Scott
