Hi There, I recently did a clean install of Lion on my MacBook Pro and forgot that I hadn't reinstalled cx_Freeze. I tried to compile from source using Python 3.2.2 from Python.org under 10.7.3 but I get a similar error to you now (I have added a comment to your ticket).
cx_Freeze is installed on my machine at home so I will try again later - I hope Lion hasn't broken it as well! Could you please tell me which versions of OS X, Python and cx_Freeze you are using? cx_Freeze 4.2.3 on Python 3.14 on OS X 10.6.6 (Snow Leopard) does not compile / install here. Do you use Apple's Python, or a vanilla one? How did you install cx_Freeze? Did you use a package manager?
