Thanks for the info. I uninstalled my macport's version of cx_Freeze,
installed PIP via macports, and then installed cx_Freeze 4.3.2 via PIP.
All seems to be working fine (though I needed to download the source
code first and then run pip on the local file). Still, I'm happy :-) and
will watch out for 4.3.3 to come ...

I'm not a macports user myself, I install cx_Freeze via PIP in a
virtualenv for my project on OS X. Currently if you need those new
options you'll need to check out the code repository from Bitbucket at
https://bitbucket.org/anthony_tuininga/cx_freeze and install it from that.
For what it's worth, it should be pretty straight forward to update
the macports files once 4.3.3 is out if someone wanted to take that on.
