XFire supported binding (via Aegis) inherited subclasses (or any arbitrary
classes) that were not present in a service interface, as described here:
http://xfire.codehaus.org/Aegis+Inheritance. It appears that this
functionality does still exist in CXF, but it is not clear how it is exposed
and specifically how it would be integrated within a Spring configuration. See
