I don't know if there's a better way to fix this, but try to somehow call:

System.setProperty("javax.xml.soap.MessageFactory",

"com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.soap.ver1_1.SOAPMessageFactory1_1Impl");

Before the saaj interceptor loads.
