I just "redid" the example from http://cwiki.apache.org/CXF20DOC/writing-a-service-with-spring.html it now "fails" with the same error message at the step where I create beans.xml. I know this used to work because I wrote several of these that are currently deployed and working, I can not redeploy them now (it appears).
