I have The Burning Blue (TBB) on order and expect UPS to drop it off later in the week. But I'll note that having been through the publisher's site (for TBB) and the official homepage for this game, the rules, scenario book and worksheets are all available for free download from the official site. In fact I have downloaded the rules already so I could familiarize myself with them in anticipation of the actual hard-copy game arriving at my doorstep. Shortly thereafter I discovered the cyberboard application and the existence of a pre-existing gamebox for TBB (created by somebody on the TBB fansite, I would gather) which prompted the original question - if the rule book, scenario book and worksheets are available for free from the publisher, and the mapboard is [essentially] reproduced in some gamebox floating around the ether, one hardly needs the actual game to play.
In any event, I'm excited to play this game. What the best way to find an opponent if you have a game in mind? Do people "advertise" that they are looking for a game, etc. Or do you pretty much already have to know the people you intend to play? Thanks Judd
