So when you don't need a marker, are you going through the hassle of putting them back into whatever tray they belong in, or are you just setting them aside somewhere on the side of the board? I suspect you're doing the latter, because it's too much trouble to move them back and forth between a counter tray. Do the same thing with the markers. Just keep a pile somewhere off on the edge of the board and swap them out as you need them. Seems easier to me... Ken G.
