The board is composed of much larger hexes. However I wish to have placed pieces snap to locations which are increments of 4 pixels in the Y axis but only increments of 1 pixel in the X axis. If I go up to 2 pixel increments in the X axis then pieces only align properly with 1/2 of the hexes on the board (since the hexes are an odd number of pixels in width). Of course, I could switch to hexes which are an even number of pixels in width but those just don't look right to me. So, ultimately, the whole problem boils down to my own OCD issues. :)
