Ezio, I too have faced this problem with large PDF files. The only method that I have found was also to transform them to jpg or bmp files in one way or another (print to file, graphics cut-paste). I think the full-cost Adobe Acrobat program may print poster format but I'm not ready to spend $300-400 for that monstrosity.
Once I have the large BMP file I still face the problem of "posterized" printing. For this I have kept an OLD (4-5yrs) graphics program that came free with an older scanner I bought. It is called "iPhoto Plus 4" by "ulead" and will allow printing multi-page graphics with adjustable page overlap and the like. This is the only lower-cost graphics program that I have found that does this but it is otherwise quite limited (PaintshopPro X, which I use mostly, does not). I'm not sure where one can find iPhotoPlus 4 nowadays. The Ulead site has a product called Photo Express which I was told might be the current rendition of iPhotoPlus 4. They allow a free trial download and I think it sells for only $29.95. I would encourage you or another reader to download the trial and report back. -Daryl --- In [email protected], "flavioezio1" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hi all, > Does anybody know how to print large pdf map files with Acrobat > Reader ?
