If you are an old fart, I am well on my way to OLD GEEZERDOM, so I 
will just think of you as being less 'seasoned' than I.  :-)

Basically, you obtain the game box for the game you wish to play, use 
ACTs to record any info for the game, and record the die rolls in the 
log so you have a record of what has been going on, and on occasion 
swap maps to insure that you are in sync with each other.  ACTs is 
also a great location to play those card driven games where you need 
to keep track of what has been played, reshuffling, etc.  I play a 
lot of For the People and We the People using ACTS.  Here is the link
