Ron,

The player who moves first needs to send his copy of the .gam file
along with the .gmv move file on the first turn.

Then load the game, and then the .gmv move file.

Here's a step-by-step How-To excerpt from my "Email Cyberboard
Tutorial":

B. PLAYING A GAME

1. You receive your opponents moves via a .gmv file, save
the file from the email into an appropriate folder for you and your
opponent.

2. Open Cyberboard Player, then 'File ==> Open ==>
Last_GameFile_You_Saved.gam (or whatever it's called), or open the
.gam file your opponent sent you if this is the set-up turn or
first turn.

3a. Then 'File ==> Load recorded move file ...' and select your
opponents .gmv file just received (or your most recent .gmv move
file, if you need to review your moves). You _may_ get a message:
'Game-state in GMV is different from current .GAM open [or
something like that] with the option of selecting the game-state of
the Recorded Move Game-State, or the current .gam state --- choose
the Recorded Move .gmv game state.

3b. Then select 'Playback' and use F3 key to 'step through' your
opponents moves. Note any errors, then 'Playback ==> Accept Move
File Playback ...', then fill in the dialog box and click 'OK' and
you'll get some message saying 'Moves accepted into game history'
or something like that.

Hope that helps,
Bill
