Unless you want to modify the contents of the gamebox file (.gbx), you
really don't need to worry about opening it up.  You can use the
provided scenario files (.gsn) for each Situation Card to create a new
game instance file (.gam) using CBPlay and play a game "right out of
the box".  You can even use CBPlay to create your own scenario files.
 So long as you have the original gambox file available for the
scenario file or game instance file to pull data from, you are OK.

However, if you want to add/remove game components or change the
graphics on a component, then you WILL need the password and I can
offer no help on that issue.
