Hi, I use compound move also because it is the best way to undo a certain move when you are moving your pieces:
1. Begin compoud move 2. Make your move, rotating pieces, edit message, combat marker and so on 3a. if you are happy, click on "End compoud move" 3b. if you want to undo your move, click on "Discard compoud move" instead of Discard Current Recording 4.
