if it was this item http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200125517181&ih=010&category=2537&ssPageName=WDVW&rd=1
the description also contains this "Condition: There is a name and phone number written in marker on the front cover of the booklet. There is a slight crease near the top left staple which hold the pages together. Overall in great shape considering the age. Size: Rule Book: 11" x 8 1/2" 15 Pages " and a photo. So the seller seems to have adequately described the item and sold in good faith. On the other hand; the seller states "Your satisfaction 100% guaranteed.".. so if you aren't, you should get you money back. --- On Wed, 29/10/08, Wizard Master <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: From: Wizard Master <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: [CBML] Re: Royal Navy To: [email protected] Received: Wednesday, 29 October, 2008, 1:10 AM I received the Royal Navy book in the mail after I purchased it via Ebay and somewhat angry. Here is the description: "You are bidding on a Vintage THE ROYAL NAVY WAR Game Rules Booklet, By Jack Greene, Copyright 1983" I said ok $15 for just the rulebook thats ok but what I receive appeared to be photocopy of the rules. Did the rulebook come stapled in individual sheets? Not sure it is possible since this dates back to 1983 and perhaps the publisher didnt spend that much on presentation (but I doubt this) ... I did email the Ebay poster requesting a refund and asked if this was a photocopy... . ----- Original Message ----- From: Brandon Musler To: CyberBoardML@ yahoogroups. com Sent: Thursday, October 16, 2008 4:57 PM Subject: [CBML] Re: Royal Navy Royal Navy is OOP but used copies aren't too hard to find on eBay.
