Thanks for your input. I do have other information now that clarifies things but still the problem has not gone away or revealed itself. I am left wondering what the issue could be. Here is the discussion from the other player back to the moderator:
"It gives me the generic Windows error message that the application has crashed and needs to close, the 'show details' option only lists those details I included in the last message. It crashes in the same way whether I step it one by one (after the Dom (a counter from one of the piece tray) move, when the Andro fleet (another counter from a piece tray) window opens) or accept the full playback at once. My home system is a mostly-stock Dell XPS 720 running Windows XP with an Nvidia 8800GT video card. I typically run at 1280x1024, full color, and the only apps that are consistently running on my system are AV/Firewall. I'm sure browser windows have been open on some of my attempts, but I have also tried rebooting and running just CB, and received the same errors. If I load the 2nd move file and skip the one with Andro counter movement, it does not crash, but I get a white bar that forms on my screen either horizontally or vertically depending on how I scroll the map. That did not happen with my prior game file or move files, and it appears to be centered around that same part of the map where the Andros (a counter) were previously located. I can try to proceed with that combination files and ignore the graphical issues for the time being, though it seems to me that it may lead to future issues if left like that." Bow he has followed up with not being even able to load the 2nd file he was sent so he cannot skip ahead or anything. The game is at a total standstill. Lawrence
