If a player doesn't save the game, any info from GMV files added to the
history will not be retained in the GAM file. I agree that an autosave
would be nice to have as an option.

Reading Chris Fawcett's tutorial, point #26 states to save after having
accepted point #25 "accepted move playback".

It's my understanding that this is how both players keep their games in
sync...therefore, it seems it would be better if the CB action that "accepts
the move playback" also subsequently did a save of the game before allowing
the player to begin his moves.

Perhaps it is not really necessary and the games will be in sync even though
the subsequent player starts moving before a new demarcation of the game is
established by a new save prior to the new moves.

Saving the game after accepting a GMV file is not mandatory, but it is a
pretty good idea.

I believe you're supposed to save the game before STARTING your own moves,
correct?

accepting the playback as legal...what it you forget to save and then start
doing your moves?
