Hi
Does anyone here use Rapideploy (
http://www.altiris.com/rdeploy/rd_over.htm ) to keep their computers
configured, free of viruses and free of customer installed software? I use
to use this in my last job for testing software installations that I was
responsible for writing. I could reconfigure a computer to Win 2000 in about
3 minutes, test the scrip then reconfigure it to Win98 & NT and test those
installations.

I'm thinking that as part of opening the cafe each day I would just download
the image. If a customer screwed up the settings we just have to reboot with
the rapideploy disk and things would be back to normal in a few minutes.

Comments?, Suggestions? Alternatives?

Thanks

PS I also want to compliment everyone on this list for keeping the postings
meaningful and free of spam. I just looked at alt.cybercafes and it's a
mess.
