OK peeps,
The situation is this. I have some low profile small footprint PC'S that
have to have wireless lan adapters fitted (for a customer with no option
to go wired). The current adapter is full height... ...but it is
basically a PCI to PCMCIA adapter. So I need one of the following.
1. A low profile PCI to PCMCIA adapter (70mm or less in height) that will
work with lan cards.
2. A USB to PCMCIA adapter that will work with lan PCMCIA cards (the PC's
have USB ports).
3. A parallel port to PCMCIA adapter that will work with PCMCIA lan cards.
4. A hacksaw.
I have some external usb wireless lan adapters on order (thanks D-Link) but
they haven't got into the country yet and I need a solution now.
Ideas?
