Hello, I am a new member on the list and I have some questions maybe some of you can help me with. I am located in California USA looking to start a cybercafe so these questions may only apply to US availabilities but anyone who wants to help by answering these questions will be most accepted. I appreciate any information you can help me with. If anything is too private you do not need to answer. 1. What was your start-up costs? In what area (State/Province)? 2. What is the location like where your cybercafe is? 3. What square footage is your cybercafe? 4. How much are you paying per square foot in rent of your cybercafe? Or did you purchase your building or have it built? (The purpose of this question is to compare rates with where I am looking, which I feel is extremely high - I am aware that different countries and even states will vary greatly from California, I do know how to compensate for that). 5. What are your regular monthly operating costs? In comparison to how much you have in income? 6. How long did it take you to be in business before you starting seeing profits, if any? 7. Would you say your cybercafe is popular? 8. Are you happy with your decision in starting a cybercafe? 9. How long have you been in business? 10. Does it look as though you will be around for a fairly long period of time? 11. How personalized have you made your cybercafe? I want to make mine very personable but my friends feel I will not make money unless I can generate a fast turnaround of customers (like Starbucks). They feel if people stick around too long there will not be much income. I disagree. 12. How do I get grants to start this business? Investors? I do not want to get a loan. I am tired of working with these banks and loan companies. Thank you for any help you can give me. Sincerely, Isabeaux _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com **********Footer message for &LIST mailing list*********** To unsubscribe from cybercafe, send mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (NOT to the list itself .. cybercafe@....).
