Woman asked computer repairman to save child porn on hard drive

MASSILLON, Ohio (AP) -- Police are investigating a woman who dropped off a computer to
be fixed and allegedly asked the repairman to save images of child pornography stored
on the hard drive.

The name of the 59-year-old woman, who hasn't been charged, wasn't disclosed.

According to police, she took the hard drive to Quality Computers last week for
repairs and allegedly told the shop employees she wanted everything on the hard drive
saved, including pornographic images of children involved in sex acts with adults.
Quality Computers employees notified police.

Detective Sgt. James Mizeres said officers obtained a warrant and searched the woman's
house.

``Until the whole hard drive is reviewed, we won't know what is on there,'' he said.

Mizeres said he suspects the sex images were sent to the woman electronically.
