From: "Graham Gartshore", [EMAIL PROTECTED] Never a day goes by without somebody being shot or shot at, so much for disarming the nation. Today (Scottish Daily Mail) it was father of three Reg Bowen aged 61 who shot dead his neighbour over a row about his conifer hedge that divided their gardens, what next! Also in the paper today MAD DOG Johnny Adair the most dangerous man in North Ireland walks about signing autographs. Alleged to have 19 murders associated with his name and said to love the smell of fear as victims were shot walks around free due to the Good Friday agreement. He was seen on tv clapping when masked men fired a volley of shots into the air. It is totally unbelievable that people are being thrown in jail for not renewing their shotgun certificate when on the other hand mask men and alleged murderers are walking about free, and I can't even get anyone to even look at my case. Talking about me and my case, I nearly cracked it. Taking the advice of a few Cybershooters I contacted the Sunday Times and gave them my story. I had a call back saying that they were interested, we were going down the line of the aftermath of the Dunblane tragedy and how it affected people in general that were caught up in the witch hunt that came afterwards. I was contacted by a reporter who spent an hour or so with me going over the facts, he was interested and thought my story was good. A week went by then I received news that it was a no go, :Quote: On a purely human level, I think your story would work for a newspaper as the tale of man who made one pretty small mistake and lost everything, but it is not the sort of story The Sunday Times usually carries. It might be more attractive to The Guardian or The Herald, which generally have a more liberal agenda. Oh well back to the drawing board. Graham -- I assume you are talking about the conviction for the shotgun bits assembled with duck tape by your local coppers, I don't think many of our subscribers remember that far back! Steve.
