Besides which it dosen't get round the problem you have if you get stopped on your way to the Police station. Jonathan Laws -- This is all true, and why I recommended to the HAC that the police should designate certain RFDs to take in guns as well for people too scared to hand them into the police. RFDs would receive a portion of the licensing fee if the person handing it in wanted to license it, or else the RFD could sell it for them on consignment if it were not a gun used in a crime. In theory all this is currently legal in one form or another as well, but it would be nice to have it expressly stated in the Act. Steve.
